To support recruitment and retention of staff, we are part of the Flexible Working Ambassador Schools scheme with the aim to look at the potential for flexible working options for all the roles that we have in our federation. This can include the flexibility of where (is some of the role suited to working at home?), when (flexible hours and compressed hours) and what (what hours per week). Our leaders are happy to talk to you about potential flexible working options for the role that you are interested in applying for.

As a community focused school, we celebrate the diversity of our community and encourage applications from all suitable applicants.

We believe that a diverse workforce leads to an organisation that is more innovative, more creative and gets better results.  We want our workforce to represent the diversity of the people and communities we serve. We also want our workplace to be one where different experiences, expertise and perspectives are valued, and where everyone is encouraged to grow and develop.

This means that when we are recruiting, we actively seek to reach a diverse pool of candidates. It also means that we are happy to consider any reasonable adjustments that potential employees may need to in order to be successful.

We also are Disability Committed accredited for our work ensuring inclusiveness and accessibility.

More information is available on our website and our staff are happy to talk to you if you have any questions prior to or during the application process.

Furze Platt Primary Federation is a nationally recognised Disability Confident Committed Employer.
