Finance Officer

20 hrs per week,

Ideally Monday 0900-1230 and Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 0900-1500

  Term Time Only

(Additional hours may be required at certain times)

Scale 4, Spinal Point 7-11 (FTE £26,116-£27,927 Actual £11,993-£12,825)

 

Start September 2024

 

The leadership team and Governors wish to appoint a Finance Officer to work under the guidance and support of the Federation Business Manager.

 

Furze Platt Infant School is a three-form entry school that is judged Good by Ofsted. This is an opportunity to join Furze Platt Infant School, be part of our Federation of schools, and help shape the future of the Federation.

 

The successful candidate will work with our administration teams and support the financial management of the school.

 

We are looking for

  • Excellent Literacy and Numeracy skills are essential
  • Good IT skills and understanding of Word & Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work with outside agencies
  • Flexibility to slot into our current, strong administration teams and support the administration of the schools
  • Passion to work in a school setting and be part of the children’s lives at school
  • A team player

 

Knowledge of Arbor and Agresso systems an advantage, but full training will be given for the right applicant
