Uniform Information
Before the first day of school, your child will need a school uniform with all items clearly labelled with their name. The wearing of school uniform is compulsory.
Below are the main details. However please read the full uniform policy which gives more detail about dress code and other aspects such as jewellery, hair styles and accessories.

* Sports kit to be worn for Sports Day, sports activities, workshops and other sports events across the year. Due to the nature of the curriculum and environment during the Reception year, children may wear navy tracksuit bottoms on other days, if preferred.

Please do not attach keyrings or any other accessories to your child’s book bag as storage space is limited.
FPPF Uniform Provision
As a federation, we support our families in sourcing school uniform for the children. Our FPSA provides regular opportunities for families to get preloved uniform. These opportunities will be communicated via the school newsletter and school app.
Our Parental Support Advisor works closely with our uniform suppliers and local charities to provide uniform to families that require support.
More details will follow on how FPPF is tackling the cost of school uniforms including our new launch of FPPF uniform swap shop which will include shoes, coats and all school uniform items free of charge!

You can find the Furze Platt Infant School uniform store by either clicking on “Find your school uniform”, or by selecting ‘Shop’ from the menu and then selecting ‘School Uniform’ from the drop-down menu.
You will then see a list of school badges and can then click on the Furze Platt Infant School Badge where they will be asked for an access code.
Each school has a unique access code, and the access code for the Furze Platt Infant School online store is: SDDFPI
(Please note this code can either be typed in upper or lower case). Please note the access code will need to be entered each time you want to place an order, and the access code will never change.
When placing their orders, you will have the choice to either collect your uniform from our store (no delivery charges will apply), or have it delivered to your chosen delivery address at a charge.
