Welcome to Furze Platt Infant School

 

We would like to warmly welcome you and your children to Furze Platt Infant School. We are part of Furze Platt Primary Federation (FPPF) – the details of which can be accessed via our Federation tab on our home page.

 

Our School admits children from the age of four until seven, when they will transition into Year 3 – potentially at the adjacent Furze Platt Junior School, our Federation partner.

 

Our children are at the centre of everything we do and their happiness, safety and well-being is hugely important to us. Our school is a happy, caring and nurturing place. We expect high standards of behaviour and good manners throughout the school at all times. This philosophy is reflected in our FPPF values: Passion - Well being - Respect.

 

We are very proud of the friendly and caring children at Furze Platt Infant School who enjoy learning and engaging in new, exciting challenges. Our aim is to ensure each child receives the highest quality of teaching, enabling them to become independent learners and confident, capable individuals. Throughout our school we offer our children opportunities to immerse themselves in their learning. Our curriculum is filled with vibrant and meaningful experiences for the children to explore and investigate - bringing the learning to life. Our school also benefits from a wonderful environment with safe, spacious grounds and beautiful surroundings, providing many opportunities for outdoor learning experiences also.

 

We have the highest aspirations for all and want each child to succeed and be the very best that they can be. Our children’s achievements, both in and outside of school are enthusiastically acknowledged and celebrated. We have a team of passionate and dedicated staff who, with the fantastic support of our parents and the wider community, ensure that every child gets the very best possible start to their school life at Furze Platt Infants.
